Following assessment we design mitigation to reduce the noise to acceptable limits. In the UK we use BS4142 and other standards to correct adverse noise impact to acceptable levels - for Planning and other compliance.

 Here we have refrigerated trailers parked up overnight with an auxiliary diesel engine keeping things cool. and very noisy.. This Acoustic hood allowed operations quietly and restoring sleep to a part of Sunderland.
